How do I fix my Init paper shredder?

The safety light on my Init paper shredder stays lit when I plug the shredder in. It recently had a paper jam, and I cleaned it out using an air can and a toothbrush. I also took it apart and used the air can on the circuit board because it was covered in paper shreds. The model number is NT-PS08MC, and I can't find anything about it on the internet other than where to buy it. The manual isn't helping either. Any advice to correct the matter would be greatly appreciated!
