Please tell me your opinion-advice?

In my past I used to chat with a woman and lets just say we did alot of bad things together. Well she had a lot of feelings for me but i didnt take it seriously. I have changed a lot since knowing her. Well she added the girl I'm currently dating on facebook, has caused a mess for me. Sent the girl I'm dating pics of us and told her a lot of bad stuff I used to do. Do you think it's okay for the girl I'm dating to talk with her? I asked her not to and she said I should have been such a jerk in the past. It seems she is causing drama by keeping a friend who is only trying to cause me grief. Am I right or wrong here?
